From August 1st 2007, to market a home with four bedrooms or more (3 bedrooms or more from September 10th) you must have a Home Information Pack (HIP).

Advantage Home Inspectors can provide both of the new parts for the HIP: the compulsory Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) or Home Energy Report and the optional Home Condition Report.

Nearly all of the information that has to be in the HIP was previously obtained later in the home selling process by a legal representative.

When we carry out your EPC, we will inform you how to find the required information to build your own HIP and save money.
